Mental Health Is Everyone’s Responsibility
Our Mental Health Course
Taking Back Control
In this Mental Health Awareness course, "First Line Of Defence", we aim to increase your understanding of common mental health conditions and your own and others mental health, including how or when it might suffer and what you can do about it.
We show you techniques to regularly assess your own and others mental state using tools like the mental health continuum, which will help you take proactive steps to keep yourself well.
We also explain what you can do to help yourself and others if you think of a problem, including initiating conversations about mental health and where to go for additional support.
With 1 in 5 of us suffering in silence, we must be equipped with knowledge and strategies to help us actively manage our mental health.
This course has been written with no workplace or profession in mind and includes information on the responsibilities and duties of all employers concerning mental health.
Additionally, we examine the unique difficulties that the COVID-19 pandemic has created and give you coping strategies specifically for the pandemic and other stressful mental health conditions.
The First Line Of Defence
In the UK, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem at any one time, including in the workplace.
Knowing how to respond to an employee struggling with their mental health is an essential step towards getting the help and support they need.
Who should take this course?
This Mental Health Awareness course is suitable for all employees (in any work environment) who would benefit from understanding more about mental health and how to support themselves and others.
It is designed for current mental health problems and those who have never had issues before.
If managing people is part of your work responsibilities, then our Mental Health Training course gives you an awareness of mental health and the skills required to best support your team.
The course is an introductory process to mental health, mental health awareness, and mental health first aid; no prior knowledge or training is required.
