Why impact is everything……..and the secret to creating it…..
The impact we make in life will be our legacy.
The impact we make on those around us, our impact on our chosen business sector, and our impact on ourselves will make the difference.
One definition of impact is ‘a marked effect or influence’. And I believe that the more significant the positive impact we make on others, the more successful we will be (Servant Leadership).

We all impact something or someone every day, even just a tiny way.
But I like to think about the bigger picture. What is the impact of my business on the world? What impact do our programmes have on people’s lives and careers?
And why is this important? Because it drives me forward every day. The purpose of our business is all about the impact we can make on people and our burning desire to help people live the most successful and happy life they possibly can.
And along with our team, I am committed to having the most positive impact on as many people and businesses as possible.
The critical thing to remember is that there is only one way to create impact……and that’s through action.

Here are some key steps to making an impact as I see it…..
Firstly, we have to know what kind of impact we want to make and on whom. Some people know this inherently, and others need time to figure it out. It can help to ask yourself and or people within your business: what do I want to be remembered for? What impact do I want to leave on those around me?
Second, we need to consider ourselves……do you have the skills and resources to start making the kind of impact you want to make? If not, that’s ok…….you can always acquire them.
And then we take action…….we obtain the skills and knowledge we need, implement them into our business and our lives, and begin to create the kind of impact that makes us proud.

Many of us don’t realise that making an impact on others and the world around us starts with ourselves. Nothing will get better unless we get better; nothing will change unless we change first.

The way we show up within our business and the example we set as leaders are crucial to our success. But we have to have the right mindset to allow us to do that positively.
